How to reach Dalhousie:

By Air: Traveling via air is not possible in Dalhousie. As it doesn’t have its own Airport. To reach Dalhousie, one can take a  flight from Pathankot domestic Airport. The second Airport connected to reach Dalhousie is Gaggal Airport which is located 140 km away from the town. To reach Dalhousie, it has domestic and international airports as it is well connected by air, road, or train. You can reach Dalhousie via Cab/Private taxi.

By Train: The Pathankot railway station which is located 80 km away from Dalhousie is the nearest airport.  Hire a private taxi from the railway station, and it takes three hours to reach the destination. Many superfast and express trains are linked with the major cities to reach Dalhousie. Delhi is the second city which is the nearest station to Dalhousie. The train journey will take at least 10-11 hours, or an overnight train is also an excellent option to reach Dalhousie from Delhi. Kathua railway station is also the second railway station from Jammu and Kashmir. Also, it takes around three hours to reach Dalhousie by road.

By road: To travel to Dalhousie from the road takes more time. But one can enjoy a convenient and memorable journey by hiring a cab or self-driving. The Haryana Road transport Corporation and Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation are government bus services that allow buses from nearby cities to Dalhousie. From Delhi, similarly, it takes 11 hours to reach Dalhousie.  One can explore the scenic views while traveling to Dalhousie.
